PAR took in 155 cats and 55 dogs in 2009.

 

PAR  had over 104 animals  that were adopted out in 2009!

 

PAR goes through roughly 175 pounds of kitty litter and 60 pounds of cat food each week.

 

PAR currently has  44 animals that are need of a good home.

WHO WE ARE

 

Paradise Animal Rescue, Inc. (PAR) is Lapeer County's first and only animal protection shelter registered with the Michigan Department of Agriculture. Founded in 2002 as an all volunteer, non-profit organization. We qualify for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. That means that donations you make to PAR are deductible on your federal tax return.

 

Our Mission

Is to serve the communities needs by rescuing abandoned, abused, or unwanted animals and find them life long loving homes. To improve the quality of life of community animals by providing humane education, promoting birth-rate reduction programs. Reuniting lost pets with their families and supporting affirmative legislative action to aid in the prevention of animal suffering.

 

Paradise animal Rescue, Inc. is funded solely by private donations and does not receive local, state, or federal funding.

Paradise Animal Rescue is not permitted to take in pit bulls.
